THE PROJECT

This was one of eight web stories our team designed for Microsoft ALT, a series that showcases inspiring breakthroughs from Microsoft’s research department. These groundbreaking projects are cornerstones of innovation and showcasing a future from an alternative perspective.

This story highlights innovation in language models and it’s integrations in Microsoft’s applications. We explore how this technology works, the history, and how an AI model can learn language by reading texts.

MY ROLE

Our task was to tell each researcher’s unique story in a storytelling web experience paired with a longform video. In collaboration with a production agency and our client, I concepted ways to engage a tech-elastic audience using interactive digital elements and immersive graphics.

For this story, I concepted many ways to infuse the page with AI like moments through hover states, clickable moments, and visuals.
